Fair enough. But in general I fail to understand how anyone could really dislike Liverpool's players. If you're indifferent to them fine, but dislike? I don't get it. Aside from Suarez who is hated by the majority of the world, who don't you dislike? Bellamy? I can see that. Maybe I can see Gerrard if you think he's a douche or something.

Wow.

My apologies, brother.

This match doesn't mean anything, and Chelsea is in preseason form, but the quality that MLS put on the pitch today was fantastic.

I agree. MLS impressed me no doubt. Demerit was beasting all over the Blues. Good win for MLS in general

Agreed. A step in changing perceptions of the league, like Alexi said.

Seattle played good footy in their friendly, Chelsea caught the bounces. Today MLS did.

You and Beezy get an obvious pass.

No doubt about it. Chelsea played a lot of new faces and were competing against in-form players. Not much should be put into preseason matches in general since they are usually poor indicators of how the season will go.

It sucks because I actually like a bunch of Chelsea's players, but their fans on here prevent me from actually pulling for them.

I really like Ramires. Hazard... eh not so much. Lampard yes. Terry no. Actually, frick no. There.

Not to say that there aren't cool Chelsea supporters here, because there certainly are.

Also, this is fricking great for MLS.

I surely don't think all of you are bad.

I even like bho, even though he can't stand me.

We're all US national team fans

I don't blame somebody for getting a little agitated when their team is losing to a "team" that has practiced once. Especially when they catch a lot of flac for it. MLS is america's league, and this game doesn't hurt chelsea. We should all be able to enjoy it.

I didn't really say I dislike any of them besides Suarez, not a huge fan of carroll due to him looking like someone I hate but , it's more of a neutrality tinged with dislike for those two. whereas Chelsea's team is neutral -1 for terry and +5 or 6 for the others that I do like.

Torres, Lukaku, Jew, Ramires, and Luiz are all fairly likable to me.

Of course you like Pool's fans. Everybody likes the underdog. You don't see anyone hating Pittsburgh Pirate fans either.

Also, yea, Pool fans are awesome. They have such a great history of being top notch fans.

I'm happy MLS won and 3 American strikers scored. Preseason games mean nothing.

Marin looks good though, glad to have him.

Needs to shoot more though when he gets himself in a good position.

Marin and Hazard are fantastic.

The young kids Chelsea's thrown a lot of money for look like they'll be superstars down the road.

Since the majority of posters on this board probably have little to no connection to English fans, I feel like this statement really has very little appliance to the discussion.

He's taken shots, but most of them have been blocked.

I for one hate Liverpool with a passion.

However, their fans (on this board) are easier to get along with.
