As much as I love the WC, the fact there is a consolation game with many backups playing is gay AF.

There were no stakes, that's why 10 goals were scored.
If they were playing this game for the ship it would've probably been 1-1 and went to PKs.

It was but the goals and assists scored should not be Golden Boot eligible is all....
Shocking Mbappe only scored 2 when England ran the game with reserves no Pickford, no Kane, and no Bellingham till the end.

I quite enjoyed it.
It’s exactly what a high quality exhibition should be. You could tell both sides kinda got pulled into an actual battle towards the end there. Nobody was going studs up but they both wanted to actually win within the confines of not trying to take anyone’s legs out.

If they wanted a point system where goals counted differently in each stage that would be cool, but I feel like this is something only people that put money on care about.
