I think one of the biggest indictments on US Soccer is that, for all the youth academies that we've established at the grassroots level over the last decade, our goalkeeping pool has taken an absolute nosedive.

Ehh, just watched Mark Guehi do that and he's not a goal keeper.


Saw Martin zubimendi do that too against United. Spanish midfielder.

I don't think he's a better GK than Turner... which is saying something.

I actually think Turner should have the upperhand because he is a better shotstopper and, based on our World Cup history, it would benefit us to go with the GK who can make saves as opposed to the one who can play with his feet.

Turner was in line to be good, then his move to Arsenal killed his playing time and he's been mediocre at best since then

Our days of having amazing GK depth are gone and we can't even find a starter
