Maybe you specifically are and maybe you're not. But on the whole you can't say with a straight face that the majority of Ameircan ManU fans would exist if they weren't so successful

No, I know most American fans are like that. But that doesn't mean we are. You have no idea why we support United, so quit making assumptions about people you have no clue about.

Nothing we have said make us look bandwagonish. You're just being asinine.

And now I'm done.

And this "jealousy" argument is just so weak it's pathetic. I'm MUCH happier to see ManU win the title over a club like City that doesn't develop and just tries to throw money at every problem. It's not about the club itself it's about the mentality of many (not all but many ) fans of clubs like yours in this country which is a very Miami heat, lets root for the team that's good mentality. Sure maybe that's not you personally but don't tell me that it isn't the case for a majority of people over here that root for those kind of teams.

You're guilty until proven innocent.

Tell me more about how it's ok to hate sidewalk Bama fans but you're somehow "different". I'm all ears.

No it couldn't. Anfield is widely considered the best or at worst 2nd best behind St. James' Park atmosphere in England.

I've heard Anfield is actually very tame for most Sat/Sun EPL games. Comes alive for European nights though.

Well you could say the same kind of thing about Tiger Stadium so I'm in no position to judge on that

Out of hundreds of English clubs Newcastle is what, 6th or 7th all time? Yeah we really suck

Which clearly proves you are a glory hunting bandwagoner. A real fan would support Hartlepool or Brighton and Hove Albion.

Right I'm really blasting Arsenal and Spurs fans on here

How do Arsenal fans escape your criticism? Around the time most people on this board started following soccer, lets say roughly late 90s through mid 2000s, Arsenal were as good as any club in England.

Brighton is a southern club, the people down there would rather sail and shite. Northerners love their football and Newcastle, a one club city, reminds me a lot of Baton Rouge in terms of the team being the focus of the town's pride and having an intense fanbase with a great spirit. Going to a match at St. James' Park and a pint at the Strawberry pub is a borderline religious experience which I have never felt outside of Death Valley. It's a truly special place that dwarfs all others.

You've been to all the other English grounds?

Now? Sure. But like I said, most people on here started following soccer from the late 90s through probably the 2006 WC. Arsenal was on par with the greatest teams in Europe during that time when most people "picked" their team.

They won 3 PL titles from 98-04. An unprecedented unbeaten season among them and, more significantly, played Barca in the CL Final right before the 06 WC which was when A LOT of people in the 20-30 age range really started following soccer. Also, 4 FA Cups from 98-05. They were at that level.
