No idea what the extent is anymore.
I do know Frenkie de Jong has started multiple matches alongside De Ligt though so i’d assume players are still coming up with instruction to be relatively flexible in terms of position. I doubt it’s as extreme as it was though.

He's def. more of a 7 but yea, played that same role in Germany. Just kind of floating around between the front three.

He has just turned into a different player than I guess I thought he would. Not a knock, still very quality. Just a different type of forward.

His style is super unique. Slick and smooth and always looking to set people up.
Deceptively quick/fast but not your traditional brazilian.
