So far absolutely nothing from Alexis and Ozil. Our two match winners have been absent.
Coq looks rusty but is so much better than Flamini. Ramsey is obviously being told to play conservatively. Hopefully the goal will free him up to get forward.

It was a misstimed challenge and vardy made a meal of it. But that's the risk you take making a tackle inside the 18.

Yeah the more I look at it the more I see what Vardy was doing. He made sure to initiate the contact. But it's a penalty. Monreal stuck a foot in, didn't win the ball. Don't see how you don't call that. If we won that challenge on our end id be screaming for a pen.

Kante handball, plus Giroud being held on every corner. I wish refs would crack down on that crap defenders pull in the box on corners.

Absolutely correct PK. Monreal initiated the contact by sticking his leg out. He doesn't stick his leg out, then there is no contact. That is a high risk, low reward challenge for any defender to do that.

Monreal wasn't moving and if anything was trying to move out of Vardy's way because he saw what he was doing. Vardy initiated contact. That's pretty obvious.

If that was a pk then the handball was too. He stopped the ball from advancing to another player with his hand. That should be called every time. Oh and the no call on Giroud. That's called anywhere else on the field and was called yesterday as a pk.
