About as shitty a 1-0 lead as I could imagine. I can't see Arsenal getting the necessary result as poor as they've good, but we'll see.

Can someone tell me why Arsenal needs to win by 2?
If they win they'll be tied on points with Olympiakos but ahead on GD. They're already ahead on GD. Why are the commentators saying they need a 2 goal victory?

The first tie breaker is based on results between the two teams that are tied. The second tie breaker is then GD.

And the 2nd is Away goals.
Olym won 3-2 in London, so beating them 1-0 or 2-1 doesn't overcome that.

Exactly, they will be tied on results (three points a piece against one another) and then it moves to the superior goal difference tiebreaker.

Ah I guess I should have been more clear. It's not GD in the group, it's just between Arsenal and Olympiacos.

if arsenal can get 1 more they could give up 2 late goals and still advance. I'd feel a lot better for sure.
