I don't get why they keep saying this is a shock upset, sure the Dutch looked good in knockout stage, but this is a team that didn't qualify for the last 2 international tournaments, had an easy qualifying group, and made an underwhelming choice for a hire.

Yes but they finished 2nd in the last nations league and are ranked top 15 in the world while the Czech's weren't even in league A of the nations league, haven't made a World Cup since '06 and are ranked in the 40s.
How many of the Dutch players do you recognize? I could have named maybe two Czech players before the tournament.

He hasn’t had a break at all, OGS has ran him into the ground and he’s exhausted

Probably only the likes of vermaelen and vertonghen. Maybe hazard if he’s still having injury problems or Mertens. But the main core has a good couple cycles left

Right but Belgium has guys who are world class in a lot of the top leagues in the world. They aren't all of a sudden going to suck in 18 months
