Nah, he's just a thug who got what he deserved.
Seriously, I know it won't happen because soccer but that red card should have been rescinded immediately following the match yesterday. Referees screwing up on the pitch you can accept. People refusing to correct wrong and horribly unjust decisions after the fact is not acceptable.

No way in hell that Matic's red should be rescinded. It's a clear cut red. So was the Barnes foul. He should be punished retroactively and get a 3 match ban, minimum, imo.
Puff, I saw that picture on reddit too. Watching it live it looked very suspicious in that Kane was already going down by the time Song made any sort of contact that would actually warrant a penalty. I don't blame him, but it's still soft. He was looking to go down.

Tim Howard isn't a very good keeper anymore.
Should be Guzan's job to lose now.

Maybe he baited him to making contact. But he didnt go down until song stepped on his left foot. This is a penalty all day everyday.

Yeah, he's bad, it's like he's afraid to call a pen for anything, we're going to have to see a rugby tackle in the box for him to point to the spot today

Par for the course all around the PL this year.

Can should have been booked for that tackle when he didn't even get the ball and it was a no call

He has his moments but he's been very inconsistent. I agree though. Let's see what Guz can do.

lol handball outside the box. S'ton getting screwed by this ref crew.
Posted on 2/22/15 at 11:01 am to StraightCashHomey21
Yep, that was clearly outside the area... The handball shout has no merit to me though

This is getting down right absurd
Liverpool back to getting love from the refs now that they are in form

Migs touched it outside of the box, but I think the ref made the right decision not to blow the whistle. The AR was in no position to make the call and the center was in no position to see if he was in or out of the box.

I mean it was clear the ref was relying on the AR to make or not make that call, the AR was in an AWFUL position to make the call.

Yeah, he was about 8 yards up field.
