Shame that it was decided on a dive.

Also, Kane needs to stop taking penalties. Give them to Eriksen.

SOFT! He was going down before contact.

That's the one thing I don't like about in-game penalty kicks.

I think it kind of sucks that you get to go after a rebound. I think it should be like a field goal in football: either you make it or you miss it.

Why don't you get to go after rebounds when a match goes to PK's after Extra Time?

I don't have a horse in this match. I could give a shite about either team.

If someone blocks a field goal, both teams can still pick up the ball.

If the ball bounces anywhere but towards the center, Kane isn't the first one to it.

I don't think it was a bullshite call. We've seen much softer penalties given. MUCH softer. But to be fair, we've seen a ref let something like that go too--but rarely. I'm ok with the penalty.

I think 5 minutes was way excessive. Match would have been over.

Song knew he fricked up. That was just dumb on his part to pursue directly behind in the PA when there was a wall of defenders ahead. You are just asking for a PK to be called.

5 minutes was shite for sure. PK was soft but perhaps a penalty Appeared he was going down. Good for him I suppose. Fall down and get the call. Not something Messi would do, but oh well. 1 point from Tottenham away isn't terrible for the Hammers but just a brutal finish.

That was both typical Song and typical WH. Had 2 good chances for a 3rd and couldn't finish. They were definitely the better side.

Just absolutely retarded by Song. You are just asking for it. Sure it was soft, but my goodness let your defenders clean up this.

We can agree on that. But that is what Song does.

Reddit seems to agree with me. Soft at best, dive at worst.

No not at all. I just dislike players who go down when breathed upon. That includes West Ham, USMNT, or any other players.

That penalty was softer than a baby's bottom.

GREAT weekend so far. Gunners win, United lose, Sp*rs and Chelsea drop points. Need a Pool/Soton draw to finish it off
