Mark Clattenburg just made a really good suggestion in regards to time wasting on NBCSN.
If a player is deemed to be time wasting on a throw-in, instead of issuing him a yellow card (thereby wasting more time), the ref simply awards the throw-in to the opposite team.
Same principle on goalkicks/corners as well.
I kind of like it.

Like the idea in theory, but trying to implement it would be a huge clusterfrick. You’d have to figure a way to remove any subjectivity from the process.
