Just like when Mourinho was sacked, the players start trying. Scored 4 goals in 30 minutes vs Leicester in the Carabao Cup. Up 4-1

I'm glad they're enjoying it. Casemiro seemed to really believe he was played poorly under the ten Haag system so maybe he sees some light with a new regime...who knows.

Would have been nice to get a shutout.

My take has been for awhile that Casemiro can't play as a lone holding mid. He doesn't have the legs. We played Ugarte next to him yesterday, which is needed. If we go 4-3-3, it can't be Casemiro in holding mid.

He is atrocious with his final product, does really well up until then though. Hideous to look at maybe even worse than Bruno

Ruud will not be staying to be part of the new coaching staff

They played so free and expansive under him. Actually looked like Dutch football.

I think there was slight hope he could stay but ultimately everyone was okay with Amorim bringing his own guys in.

Also, there's merit to the fact that Ruud is such a unique presence within the club that Amorim might struggle to really assert himself if things get tough.

I don't blame Amorim for not wanting to muddy the waters with a legend right under your nose every step of the way.

Makes me sad too. I will forever love Ruud. Hope he kills it at his next job. He deserves success. Wish Ole got more recognition as a manager too.

Would love to see Ruud in the Bundesliga or Serie A.

Dream start for Amorim as Rashford scores after 90 seconds at Ipswich.

Why do you guys keep hiring the weakest managers imaginable? After all the Dutchman's whining and excuse making Amorim already talking about long periods of suffering and being scared of Pep. Hire someone whose balls have dropped.

Maybe it's just something about United that turns them this way then. It's embarrassing either way.

He's managed 1 single game and been on the job for exactly 2 weeks.

Anyone with a brain can look at the current squad and see a lot of wasted money and dead weight. What does the current roster have to do with Amorim? I don't get it.

At least wait for half of a season to talk shite. Guy literally just started.
