Apparently an American hedge fund is in the mix as well
The same one who owned Milan for a while

Yeah Elliot Management is thought of very highly by Milan fans, they brought that club out of financial ruin basically. I wonder what their reason for selling to RedBird last year was. A lot of UK fans will be apprehensive to say the least about the prospect of American ownership due to the Glazers, but at least they have successful experience.

Yea I’m not sure what they exactly want in this
But Milan has been a mess with owners the last 20 years

Got the answer to my question
They want to fund the Glazers to keep owning the club

God damnit.
I feel like this was their plan this whole time.
"We tried blokes, but no one was willing to meet the £100T valuation we placed on the club".

The only positive from that and this is me being as optimistic as possible
They get the debt off the club and the firm helps finance renovations and upgrades to the the stadium, training ground and facilities
We don’t need outside money for players

Yea if they thought the pitch invasion before the Liverpool match was bad
The thing is they really don’t have to sell. They can continue to do what they have been and keep taking money out the club and not paying off the debt
It’s just a headache for them at this point being the villain

I have a hard time seeing them not sell, they bought it at what £800m and are going to get at least 5b. That’s a lick.

Gary brought up a good point post match yesterday
That it could be them driving up the price to buy everyone else out of the club and only two of them maintain control with the hedge fund backing them
Also Garnacho is inking a new 5 year deal

Shiekh Al Thanki and Sir Jim Ratcliffe said both won't run United for profit. Now lets see if the Glazers step out of the way and don't go for a Hedge Fund offer where they remain in place.

I'm proud of the Noisy Neighbors for finally embracing Middle Eastern money. Congrats!

I’ve been looking forward to this second leg probably more than any game for a couple of years and I’m not going to be able to catch it. Been trying to line up a golf lesson with this guy for 3 months and unwittingly scheduled it for today at 3…

That is unfortunate. Most excited I have been for a game in a very long time
