Is this a real thing? Why would Atletico actually let him go?

Bayern also scooped up Hummels that's a pretty nice day.

I don't think he'll leave but there has been plenty of speculation that United could splash for him and the 63million pound release

Heck, let's just bring Pogba back and start building an all-French attack. I'd be completely fine with that.

From the Telegraph:
quote:

Louis van Gaal vetoed a move for Renato Sanches in favour of pursuing other transfer targets in the clearest indication yet that he could stay on as Manchester United manager beyond the summer.

Sanches joined Bayern Munich from Benfica on Tuesday in a deal worth an initial £27.6 million but which could rise to £63.1 million depending on the Portugal midfielder’s success with the German giants.

United had scouted Sanches extensively and held advanced talks with Benfica and the 18-year-old’s agent, Jorge Mendes, but senior sources at Old Trafford told Telegraph Sport on Tuesday afternoon that the club had backed away from a deal in February.

If he survives this, even with a FA Cup, I'm gonna hurt people.

I'm not going to put this on LvG he mad the adjustments to have the team come out attacking in the second half.

We all knew West Ham would come out firing at the start.

But this match clearly shows what this team is lacking and its a spine. A CB and another CM.

I know Bayern just bought both of those.

While this match itself might not be his fault, the situation United were in coming into it largely comes down to him.

The defense and the offense can't seem to play well together in a given match. It's either one or the other. For most of the season, it was the defense. Tonight, it was Martial and the attack.

The consistency is all out of whack, and it's cost them a top four spot this season. The cup run is nice, but I'm not convinced he can lead this team to where they need to be longterm. What is he going to do next season that will make things better? I'm not sure.

Who knows who will come in if we decide to change managers. If the talk about LvG shutting down the Sanches transfer then he's not going anywhere.
