It ain't a jinx

Dudes don't have the marbles to get anything over the line.

Will be flabbergasted if y'all don't win the cup as well

I'm not 'ya'll' here, but I get it. Been in a lot of team boards lately.

We're looking solid but I'm still not 100% convinced. Might be getting the post holiday bump a little later than normal.

Well…

I could only listen to the first half on the City app. Got back to it @ 90+3 to find the score level at 2-2. The City announcers were having fits over the ref/VAR missing two “obvious” penalty calls against Forest. Also a ball tipped over the net by the GK given as a goal kick instead of a City corner.

Anybody watch? This true?

Also, if you allow a side like NF two goals on your own ground, you don’t deserve the points. Bollocks.

Looks like that’s TWO trophies now out of reach.

Yeah this was a bad week - EPL (definitely) and UCL (almost definitely) are over now

Nice to see the Carabao back where it belongs. BSilva, Doku
and Nico were out of this world.

Winning any trophy is so meaningful to this group, which has been transitioning slowly but surely over the last two years. Whatever it will take to keep Bernardo needs to be done. The man is a wizard.

This team pretty clearly has the highest ceiling of any in the league.

Anyone else concerned about Pep leaving after this season? I feel like we go through this every other season. I don’t want him to go but I think Vinny Kompany is next man up.

Not necessarily. He's gonna leave one day and it's gonna suck. That said, he had his squad he wanted for a decade. Won it all in spectacular fashion. I don't want him to go but at some point it'll happen.

Idk if he'd leave right now. He'll basically win the league every year in Germany and he knows the grinder the PL is. He's also probably smart enough to know you don't want to be the guy following the guy. I'd love to see it but I think if it happens it'll be further down the line.

I’d love to see Vinny as skipper, but you are probably right. I think they already have their man in mind, but his name escapes me at the moment. I think the days of 3 titles in 4 or 5 years is over, unless City can find another KDB in his prime.

I think they're gonna look at Maresca or Enrique.
