Just here because gotta take the bad with the good. There’s NOTHING good about the current state of City. Idk wtf is wrong and why Pep can’t figure it out but damn man…letting Julian go, Cole Palmer go, etc really hurts. Especially when they’re exactly guys that could help right now.
Oh and for the first time that I’ve been watching, Kyle Walker looked slow yesterday. If his speed goes, he’s useless.

This is the worst possible scenario. They are liable to finish 10th-ish. Then have the whole world collapse in January with the worst possible outcome to the “115”—relegation and loss of titles. Then it will be as if the last 15 years don’t really exist.

We have all decided to support Nottingham Forest as our backup side for the duration, mate

This is getting ridiculous. Pep gonna get sacked, huh? I mean any other club would sack their manager in this kind of scenario? I’m not saying I want it but idk how this ship gets turned around.

This is quite honestly hilarious at this point. I get why we didn't, but they should've really refreshed the core after the treble. This is a big downside to Pep preferring a small squad. Age & injuries kill that philosophy.

I almost think they are throwing matches at this point.
I mean, at the 80th minute, ManU had one shot on target and really no prospects or inkling they could get a goal to even steal a point.

That’s it. This was a trash United side. Yet the way City lost was EXACTLY how they have consistently lost games during this free fall.
Yes Nunes played out of position and has cost City at least two games recently that I have watched. I think I am more concerned with the lack of goal scoring or lack of creativity for scoring chances. City used to hold the ball and strangled opponents into mistakes and creating goals. Now it’s work the left side, dribble it down to the corner of the box…and then swing it out and around to the other side. Eventually lob it to Erling but other than that nobody else is coming close to being a threat. Phil is my favorite player and his regression is depressing. As is KDB. I saw him flub at least 2 free kicks that were nowhere close to KDB standards.
End of rant. Sorry yall.

Total shite. Pep is making NO changes in front at least tactically. Put Doku on left and Savihno on right with Erl. Move Jack back and give him more space than that FREAKING left side.

Late to this but going back to some superstition.
Your Boxing Day City side ??
XI | Ortega Moreno, Lewis, Akanji, Ake, Gvardiol, Kovacic, Bernardo (C), Savinho, Foden, Doku, Haaland
SUBS | Carson, Brits, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Simpson-Pusey, Mubama, Alleyne, O'Reilly, McAtee
#ManCity | @etihad
And yes. It’s 1-1 at the half.
