GB may not be stuck on Adams as right back?
He never has been.

I think the majority want him in an altered Bradley role.

It seems like Adams is the only logical choice to replace Bradley right now.
That was a well written and though-out article. I think we'll be ok in the back and what will be key is replacing bradley, and filling in the rest of the midfield to support Bradley's replacement and Pulisic. Striker scares me a little. I don't think Jozy is going to be fit come 2022. I have doubt that Sargent will be ready either, though I hope that ginger takes some big steps and earns the role. I guess we have Wood but he's just not that good...we need better.

I imagine the back line would include Long/Miazga, Brooks, Lima / Yedlin, and someone else at RB.
I have no idea with the midfield besides those 3 you listed.

Us can go far in the next decade. Play young players, focus on set pieces, that's the key.

I think Long is a safer bet right now but otherwise I agree. Let's hope Richards gets the game time he needs to develop.
ETA: I also still think Miazga has a higher ceiling than Long, who I would really like to see take a shot at Europe.

If Jozy can’t play a whole game now, why will he be able to later when he’s older?
re: Look at 2022 for USMNTPosted by cwil177 on 7/12/19 at 9:21 am to GeismarGeauxer
He regularly goes 90 for Toronto, and did before the GC started.
re: Look at 2022 for USMNTPosted by East Nasty Swaaaaag on 7/12/19 at 9:34 am to GeismarGeauxer
It had nothing to do with his fitness, but Berhalter’s loyalty to Zardes.

But doesn’t he have a history of being injured or unfit to play for USMNT?
re: Look at 2022 for USMNTPosted by East Nasty Swaaaaag on 7/12/19 at 9:42 am to GeismarGeauxer
But not this tournament

That's going a bit far. This was Jozy's first time being actively involved in one of Gregg's camps, and he looked really rusty in the first game he started. People act like Zardes has been with Gregg for 5 years. It's not loyalty, it's familiarity.

You say that but it comes across as the exact same thing

Except that it means things are much more likely to change in the future.
