This is it guys. Hodgson out, the King is back. Tomorrow is United. Couldn't be a bigger stage given the circumstances. The club is going to rally from here on out....I can just feel it.

This is the end of the storm. The golden sky. The sweet song of a lark. We held our heads up high with hope in our hearts. Now lets kick some scum arse.

9 hours and 40 minutes until game day. I'm so jacked.

Walk on. Walk on.....

Hodgson is a good manager. Steven Gerrard isn't bailing out that fluky team anymore.

He made some incredibly stupid line up decisions with Pool.

13 capped internationals. Not world beaters, but a hell of a lot better than what they've shown.

Granted he isn't working with Real Madrid's talent, but he routinely played guys out of position. Not our of necessity mind you.

For example, arguably Pool's best player so far this year, Raul Meireles, is very good as a center mid, but pretty much worthless on the wing.

Roy routinely played Raul at RW and would start someone like Paulson or Jonjo Shelvey inside. Meanwhile he would leave a healthy Kuyt/Jova/Johnson on the bench all of which are capable of playing on the right.

Look at how shitty Fulham got without Roy. I still think he's a really good manager.

How many pts are they off last year's pace? Zamora isn't healthy, they were missing Makelele for awhile, so it's not exactly similar situations.

It's not saying he's a bumbling retard incapable of doing anything, but rather he wasn't what Liverpool needed at the current time.

To be fair, Fulham have been without Zamora basically all season. HE was the only guy who could score in the Prem all last season.

I don't think Fulham have gotten worse. They've tried a change of play and it's been a difficult adjustment, but I think it's starting to come around.

That counting Konchesky and his 2 caps? Poulsen's probably been capped too but that doesn't make him any good.

To be fair, Liverpool's best player (and the best striker in the world) hasn't been healthy all season. Gerrard isn't the same either due to injury and age. Talent wise, they probably haven't underachieved that much. Without a healthy and effective Gerrard/Torres they just aren't a top 6 or 7 team with the roster they have.

Haha I just think Hodgson got a bit of a raw deal, but that's the way it is these days. As Gerrard and Torres get more healthy, 'Pool will rally.

No sense talkin about hodgson anymore, he's out and king Kenny is in. Tomorrow is a new day and the sun will shine brightly. Come on pool, beat those dirty mancs. I want to hear a boisterous Fields of Anfield Road with King Kenny on the sideline.

I'm fricking dreading going to sleep tonight in anticipation of the game in the morning.

I just want to stay up and get ready to watch this cause it should be great. Win or lose, I want to hear the travelling kop in full song and see some more energy out of our players.

frick I'm excited about not just tomorrow, but this whole week.

Lunged with two feet into a loose ball. A little harsh, but probably the right call.

The penalty though was horseshite, F Berbatov.

Liked a lot of what we saw from Liverpool today, really nice to see them pressing the ball again.

Yes it was. Besides a blantant hand ball I can't imagine a softer penalty.
