We had TAA for years at RB and we were successful. I think we will be fine there.
Bradley is a beast. Hopefully he can stay healthy.
Hopefully, they can put a few positive games together. Looking forward to today’s match.

Gakpo is absolutely unplayable right now. Just gets in the right space almost every single time and makes silky smooth passes and through balls.

I’ll be the first to say I wanted Gakpo gone all year last year. My tune has changed drastically since his World Cup campaign started.

Do not want to see him go in January.
We are just fine with Gakpo and Rio on the left with Barcola and Munoz on the right.
And having an actual defender on the RB instead of Frimpong looks like a difference maker already.

Closing that out the way we did was huge. That’s a building block for sure. Araujo will get better as he settles in. The defense will shape to mold.

I'm very impressed with Iraola's adjustments this game. Putting Araujo as RB was a game changer for us, and the entire attack looked good as well. We have tougher tests coming up, but we have reasons to be optimistic.

yes the 3 CB definitely helped our defense. I have been somewhat surprised how physically weak frimpong, wirtz and kerkez have been. They are not premier league strong.
If we continue to play 3 CB, then our attacks will come from barcola/gakpo side, which is more than fine. Gakpo will split time with isak up top until Ekitke is ready. I really like the pace and toughness of munoz from the right side.
I still dont like kerkez in the lineup at all. Wirtz needs to step the frick up.
We have 4 MF who can play. Szoboslai (who needs to be in every lineup) Wirtz (who has not lived up to his hype) Gravenberch and MCcalister.
This needs to be figured out.

Ive been disappointed with Wirtz as well. He's extremely talented, but gets pushed off the ball far too easily. I'm not saying we should bench him yet, but it is concerning. I think Iraola is trying to work around our weakness at the fullback position, and it worked this week, but against stiffer competition I'm not sure. I think the RB and CDM positions get addressed in January, and i believe our team is good enough to stay in the hunt until then.
