It's been terribly bad business by the club. If they did promise him what he says, then that is hysterically bad. It was obvious we wouldn't make CL next season. It was even more obvious when we made zero summer moves. I would understand if the club had splurged on a top player, but they didn't. He should have been sold last season if this is true, now we will just be another season behind.

It doesn't have to be ugly for Liverpool. Just come out and say we're not against Luis leaving. Someone just needs to pay the appropriate price. Wenger is trying to get our ferrari for price of a BMW and is colluding with the player to do so. Why was the bid 1 dollar over? Cuz guardiola told them to bid that. As soon as they meet value with value the deal is done. And btw the price for arsenal just went up.
