It's gonna be fun to see God on the pitch at Anfield..

Still no official word on who else will be playing in the match. I listened to Gerrard's interview and he said old players were coming back.

Riise said he would be there via twitter yesterday... he didn't clarify if he was playing though... I would assume

Now the possible sad stuff.
Atletico Madrid Deny Liverpool's £21m Bid for Diego Costa

I have no idea if you can believe any of these but still I thought I would share just in case hope it's not true I like they guy though I'd rather have more of an outright winger though, JMO.

According to Cadena Ser (Spanish Radio) Aly Cissokho's transfer to LFC is back on track. Player has agreed terms with LFC. Clubs in advance negotiations (from twitter).

I think there is more to it, whether an official offer has been made yet or not... too many respected journalist have confirmed it...
I cant think of a player (a realistic one) that I'd rather have at the moment... loves playing out wide and running at defenders, unselfish too... This article is another reason.. I like the writer's sentiment..

It probably isn't an official offer at this point. But like TFTC said, a lot of very reputable BBC/Guardian journalists have reported it.

When Torres came to Liverpool. A week before he was revealed at Anfield, Atletico went on record saying there was no approach for Torres and that they weren't selling. SO given the amount of respected journalists that have thrown their hat into the ring on this one I'd assume they are working behind the scenes just keeping it hush-hush.
Also all the negative reports are regurgitating the same story from AS English.

the silence in recent days on the issue (until now) has had me thinking a deal will be struck. arsene's comments and this news only further that belief. I think it will be amicable and we'll dole out a good chunk more to avoid any fuss.

I sure hope so. Missing a few matches will suck, but he can play in the group stage of the UCL to get to know his fellow Gunners.
