I'm pretty sure he can... I know Pepe says he is disappointed but dont think for a second he isn't relishing the opportunity of playing under Rafa and Valero again with Champions League football and being the #1 keeper...

Still it's no big who he beat or how many times it was ... all that matters was that Cous was absolute class on that goal.

I will be buying at least two jerseys this year a Gerrard one for sure because I do not have plus one of these:

Agger, Coutinho, Sturridge, Lucas Leiva, Sterling, Ibe, or Reina(GK)[Will still probably get]

And I think a Cous one will get the nod, though a LS Dagger wouldn't be bad either.

I still don't like the Away kit, yes it doesn't look "that" bad on TV but still ...

But is it just me or do some of you find the third kit really not that bad either, almost to the point of liking it?

I guess I just have a different take on the Reina situation than a lot of supporters. Pepe let the club know of his intention to move to Barca when the job there became available (and according to his book this isn't the first club he's asked LFC to consider selling him to). He asked away from Anfield twice and finally got his wish. The fact that it wasn't the supermodel club that he was hoping for is not LFC's problem (though to be fair he's in a good situation this season in Italy). There's no way that he doesn't have to option to reject the loan in his contract so to say that he was loaned without his knowledge is a bit misleading. If he didn't hear it from club officials first then that is perhaps regrettable, but certainly doesn't indicate a lack of loyalty on the part of LFC. While I agree with Beast that the letter is very classy (and personally much appreciated as a long time fan of his), the paragraph regarding his lack of knowledge about the loan is ambiguous and simply was not necessary.

Agree with it all. The paragraph about how things were handled wasn't necessary. What did he expect LFC to do when he said he would go to Barca if the offer was there? He forced LFC to find a replacement or someone not named Jones to compete for the #1 spot.

Probably not, but I think it was just his way of saying he didnt want to leave LFC, not so sure it was meant as a dig to BR...

So question:

I thought we had signed Aly Cissokho on loan ... what happened?

Also looks like the Papa & Alderweireld rumors are starting back up.

Also starting to hear some stuff about Alexis Sanchez.

Oh the reason I asked about Cissokho was because I keep seeing us pursuing Benfica's LB Lorenzo Melgarejo

According to Twitter Cissohko won't accept the wages we are offering. Pinch of salt.

Just watched the Gerrard interview on LFCTV and I have to say ...

I will cry for months when he decides to hang up his boots.

Twitter is saying this is done... Glad it is only a loan because it sounds like he is a project at LB... only played there for a year or so, but he is good in attack...
