By the way, I'm back motherfrickers. The bar is over. Lets get this season started.

I'm for sale. All I ask for is a season ticket at Anfield (preferably at the Kop end), a condo somewhere close to Anfield, sustenance (read beer) so I have enough energy to celebrate at Anfield.

What player do y'all think will step up this season and make a big impact?

Has to be Martin Kelly for me.

It'll be interesting to see what's done with Sterling and Ibe. With no Europe, that's less potential games, but I can see one of them stepping up to be a contributor if neither is loaned out. And especially if Suarez or Downing goes leaving an opening in the first team.

Once Aspas adjusts and clicks with the other players he's going to be a big surprise for a lot of people. Kelly will really come into his own this year. The kid is just flat out good.

It would be nice for Borini to grow into a role this season. He's been linked with Lazio a lot recently. He's a good player; hardworking and tactically strong. He isn't too dynamic though. Hopefully he works on his touch and passing a good amount this offseason. A fully healthy season is also critical for his progression.

Martin Kell

No shot he makes it through the whole season healthy. He is probably one of the biggest disappointments in recent history for LFC because he can't stay on the pitch. He came up through the academy and he's so fricking good, but he's more fragile that Dagger.

Borini

It would be nice if he could start scoring some goals, but his movement off the ball in the box is phenomenal and he is indirectly responsible for quite a few goals. He looked good in the U-21 World Cup this summer, I'd just like to see it translate to the premiership.

I think Kelly will struggle a bit this year, similar to Lucas this past year...

To Xs point, that's one reaso I'd like to see him move to CB...

Hopefully this is his season to stay healthy. If not, I don't see him remaining a Liverpool player next season.

For me it's got to be Jordan Henderson. He's the box to box MF that we need to replace Gerrard now that he's playing deeper. He's one of the most technical players in the squad and going into his third year with the club and second in this system, I think he can really have a break out season. With the halfbacks creating some width down the wings like last season, he'll have plenty opportunities to move the ball through the middle of the field. If he can learn to play better with his head up and remember to get the ball to Coutinho every chance possible, he'll make a big impact.

I just think its natural to take a year to fully recover from those knee injuries... But his hammies aren't cut out for all that running up and down the wings...

I think Henderson will get left out of the starters a good bit this season

Agreed...especially in BR's system where the HBs are more like wing-backs, he doesn't need to be doing that running with his back, hamstring, and knee problems. He's very composed as a defender and I think he'd do well with a guy like Agger who likes to make runs all the way to the other goal line.

Yeah, if Gerrard stays healthy his minutes may be limited... I would like to see him in the AMF role against the Stokes of the league...

In a 4-3-3, putting him in the midfield with Gerrard and Lucas pushes Coutinho out on the wing and I prefer Cou playing more centrally behind the striker. I wouldn't mind a 4-4-2 with both of them in the MF and Suarez and Sturridge up top, but that doesn't seem to be Rodgers preferred formation.
