I just don't see it if Suarez stays:

Mignolet, Johnson, Kolo, Agger, Enrique, Gerrard, Lucas, Coutinho, Sturridge, Suarez, Aspas

Without him, yes:

Mignolet, Johnson, Kolo, Agger, Enrique, Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson, Coutinho, Sturridge, Aspas

I'm not sold on Aspas being a first team regular just yet. Not saying he won't get there at some point, but i think the squad is stronger with Hendo as opposed to Aspas at this point.

Also, I fully expect Rodgers to sign another attacker, especially if Suarez is sold. I imagine it will probably be a wide player.

At this point, I have about 90% confidence that Suarez isn't going anywhere this window. If he stays, I'm not sure who we'd sign that would overtake Coutinho, Sturridge, or Suarez in the front 3. This is assuming Daniel can stay healthy.

I think Coutinho will be played at the top of the triangle in the midfield this season. He was much more effective there.

If Downing stays, I could see him on the right wing and Cou in the middle. Stewart has gotten a ton of shite since he signed for LFC (some of it deserved) but he still has decent speed and he creates a lot of good chances. The image of him spraying crosses everywhere but into the box under Dalglish is all some people see when they think about him, but he actually had a pretty good year last season.

Downing is a fine player. He's a victim of circumstance.

I still think we're going to see Sterling a fair amount in that front 3, too..

Ibe probably more so in cup matches...

100% agree. I have to keep telling myself he's only 17 and has hardly played any first team football, but damn, he just looks the part every time he steps on the pitch.

No doubt... him and sterling on the wings is something to be excited about in a few years...

I think Rodgers will coddle him, like he did with Sterling the second half of last year, which is the right thing to do...

I think Sterling is more i his immediate plans... they have both looked sharp in preseason.. Also glad Suso will be getting first team football on loan this season...

If we don't sign a CB, I'll be very interested in seeing how Toure plays.

Couldn't agree more. Ibe shows flashes of absolute brilliance, and Sterling is getting noticeably better every time I watch him. If he can learn how to play around his size weakness as Cou does, he's going to be sick.

OMG... Coutinho dribbles around three defenders into the box and coolly slots it home...

I was going to order the away shirt with no name on the back...but 10 is going to be special this year. I'm strongly leaning towards Coutinho at this point. Speaking of the away shirt, they really didn't look bad on tv. You can't see the graphic design unless they show a close up and the black shorts blend well with the black at the base off the shirt.
