If we're up 2 with 5 left, put him in.

Stevie G back in. Great to see him back - especially with our current depth issues.

God dammit why did we put Moses in? Alberto or Rossiter would have been preferable

Moses is useless.

Dang - we were close to having a decent day, then Arsenal scored.

Can still do ok with Everton down and hope for a ManU loss and that'll pick up some points on our competitors for fourth place.

We're back into 4th. 1 point above Everton.

yep, not bad...

Not the best, but never in doubt...

Just my opinion, but I don't think Rossiter was ever gonna get a sniff of the field unless it was an emergency... I just think being on the bench was his reward for doing so well with the reserves (and our MF injuries)...

You're probably right. I had never heard of him til the last game. I just wanted to play the 16 year old.

Lucas was great (finally). Henderson still astounds me with his improvement. Wasn't our best game but good teams find ways to win in these, so all in all pretty happy with today.

Schedule through end of January -

@ SToke
Villa
Everton

I think 9 is attainable, but anything less than 7 would be considered a failure. Would be nice to get the victory against Everton and put some more space between us.

We should get at least 6. I'd be happy with 7. 9 would be massive.

Really looking forward to the second half of the season. Think I saw somewhere that we played 7 of the top 8 in the league away already. The road to the champions league qualification goes through Anfield.

Yep. Really happy we have the toughest part of our schedule behind us. Especially considering how we're playing at home.

I was pleasantly surprised by Lucas today. Highest passing percentage at 92 complete, won most aerial duels, and most influential player according to Opta. Unfortunately its most likely a fluke.

What else can be said about Henderson? The kid is just flat out good. If he keeps progressing at this rate he's going to be one of the best in England one day.

Stoke won't be easy. I wouldn't be surprised to come out if these with 5 points.

Any news on transfers? This Salah deal doesn't seem to be as imminent as once thought, and I think we need to bring in another full back and holding midfielder to be ready for the long haul. Anyone heard anything?

I wonder what the xi will look like once Sturridge is healthy.

Honestly I haven't a clue.

All I know is Henderson, Suarez, Sturridge, Gerrard and Mignolet will be on the field.

Has to be either a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2.

Also I would like to see Kelly and Llori play tomorrow. Might be too much to ask though. Would be nice to see Aspas get a shout as the #9..

The one complaint I've had with BR is all of these massive wins and no playing time for the youngsters. I'd like Aspas to at least get 45.

I think it will definitely be a 4-4-2, but I'd like to see it more as a 4-2-2-2. Something like this:

Johnson-Skrtel/Toure-Agger-Cissokho/Flanno/Enrique
Gerrard-Lucas/Allen
Henderson-----------Coutinho
Suarez---------------------------Sturridge
