I liked the ballsy Brad Smith gamble. He got himself into dangerous positions but his youth showed through. If he would've brought down that ball on the left side of the box right at the end and turned it in to someone Brendan would've looked like a genius. Such is management.

We better have insta-transfers waiting. Supposedly Salah is done and ready to be official on Jan 1st.

I'm certain they'll give us a good bit, considering the glimpse they got of what was possible. The sky is the limit. But we need to get fresh bodies on the pitch soon. The boys are obviously gassed playing 3 high tempo pressing matches in a week.
I read SG was possible for New Years day. I think that's a bit optimistic but I'd be over the moon if true.

Haha, aside from the Eto'o one...

I'm not gonna bring it up in the game thread, because I dont want it to turn into a Suarez deb
More like you aren't gonna bring it up because to every non Liverpool fan it's just another Suarez dive.

Oscar and Hazard wrote the book on that today. On their backs more than a 5 cent whore. Your high and mighty credibility is thrown out the window.

Hazard goes down weak as shite all the time no doubt. I hate that enough. At least he hasn't quite stooped to the fish flop level of Suarez yet though.

Personally I don;t agree with any of those except the Eto'o foul on Henderson.
Terry's challenge wasn't a pen. That shite happens all of the time in the box. You start calling that and the next thing you know there are 5 pens a game through precedent.
The challenge on Suarez was a foul, and should have been given a yellow, but it wasn't a pen, no matter what the rules say. Indirect free kick at the most.
The Oscar challenge on Lucas was a yellow. It was late, but it was a very soft foul.
I thought Webb had a good day. The only thing I think he really missed was the Eto'o foul on Suarez. At the same time, however, I understand why he didn't give it. The rule is very poorly written.

Webb sucks donkey balls, but he did call a good match today.

I thought the foul on Henderson was awful. He limped around all game because of it, and he was lucky not to tear anything.
I get the Terry no call. Those who argue in favor of it would have Skrtel sent off every single match this year.
As you said the Suarez one is complicated. Its never called, which shouldn't be an excuse, but it is and you have to live with it.
The Oscar one should've seen red, IMO. Incredibly late, studs up into the ankle. Hippy arse level headed Lucas was about to (attempt to) throw down. Dude never gets mad on the pitch.

I understand your hatred of Mou now. Some very negative, unattractive, and borderline dirty tactics. But hey, it gets him the result, and that's all that counts. It worked very well against us.

We just don't have the quality as a squad
Yea..pretty much. We have a good first XI when healthy.
Coutinho, Suarez and Sturridge are as good as any attacking group.
Our midfield isn't supremely talented, but they work hard together, and that is enough to beat the shite out of 13-14 clubs in the Prem. Against a Luiz, Lampard, Oscar midfield, with Hazard and Willian working hard defensively, LFC is simply outmatched.
Our defense is shite plain and simple. Skrtel just isn't a top CB, and while I do like Sakho, he scares the frick out of me regularly. Johnson can go on a free at this point, and it seems like Rodgers is holding open tryouts for LB. It also doesn't seem like he knows which pairing is most effective. From what I've seen, give me Kolo and Agger. Kolo might not be as good as Skrtel in open play, but he is much more effective on set pieces.
Again, Chelsea, City and Arsenal's XIs are top to bottom better than ours. LFC's first substitute off the bench was someone who I didn't even recognize. What the frick. Chelsea had the option to bring on Mata, Torres, Ba, Cole, Schurrle or Mikel, and that doesn't even count Ramires who was on a suspension, Essien who is still serviceable, and KDB who is a phenomenal talent. 5, 6, hell maybe even 7 of those players could break into LFC's XI, while the rest would make a late appearance in every match.
LFC is getting closer. It isn't easy to build depth. The top 3 clubs who are a class above us took years to build those squads. Ours is essentially brand new outside of Stevie, Johnson and Lucas.
Missing Enrique, Sturridge and Gerrard hurts.
ETA just keep your fricking fingers crossed we sneak into 4th. If we don't, frick everything. Losing Suarez will cripple us.
