If Henderson's performance today was any indication of the role he will receive when Gerrard retires, then we will be okay.

Couldn't agree more. Can't say enough about him.

I still can't believe we beat them that bad, even though I know we poured it on after the red card.

Very good match and the attack looked very fluid and fun to watch. One of my best friends is a spurs fan, and he still hasn't talked to me since the game

LFC made dat arse quit!

Seriously though, the AVB debacle has made me really appreciate LFC management. Mad props to them for picking their manager, putting their faith in him, and not panicking when early results weren't going our way and the performances were utter shite.

Agreed. I know they've struggled this year, but I don't think the signings have gelled or worked together quite as well since they've struggled to find their attacking identity. And then of course their back line is very depleted due to injuries which we took advantage of.

I would have let him finish out the year to get a better gauge of where things were going. But now they panicked and are too hard pressed to make CL this year

Yea I agree. Football is too fickle. If you aren't prepared to have patience with your investments, then why are you making them?

I'm not complaining though. The worse Spuds are the happier I am.

So, does anyone still think we should have sold Suarez this summer?

No.. I'm hoping the bosses go all in this January to secure CL football... And if we compete for the title,too... That would be awesome...

I just think we need to show him our intent, so that he wants to stay next season and not wait until the summer...

As we see, a boat load of cash doesn't guarantee success...

Flannigan reminds me of Gerrard with his passion and tenacity. Dude is all over the field. I think it was around the 70th minute where he won back the ball twice and dove on the ground around three times. Didn't give up on the ball once.

I couldn't tell from his receipt, what odds did they give him?

Thinking about it, honestly he's got to be the least likely outfield player to score. I'd peg all 9 other guys before him, so that must've been a hell of a payout.

Looking through his other tweets it was 25-1. Also, he was a former LFC and England player before he was injured in a car wreck. Story here.

Terrible story, but a testament to the club and how much it cares about its people.

Flanno was pretty excited about that goal. I probably would have had the same reaction, to be honest.

Mine would be flaccid from an immediate explosion of……excitement.
