His role certainly won't be to score goals.

He cant play against City tomorrow, but I expect to see him in the lineup against Hearts at Anfield on Thursday...

Yup. I'm just gonna enjoy this season and hope we get him on permanently. If not, I will be thrilled for his contribution.

If Sahin really hits the ground running for yall and Arsenal don't find a replacement for Song I think I will jump off the Baton Rouge Bridge.

Watching the interview now. I love watching him talk about Xabi's love for LFC!

Arsenal will finish top 4 this season and Liverpool won't. As silly as it is, "in Wenger we trust." He hasn't failed ya'll yet so I see no reason why he would this season.

I can handle you guys getting Sahin, but saying it was because of Alonso kinda makes me want to vomit all over my phone as I type this.

Alright fellas, I want predictions.
Key Player:
No doubt it's Jamie Carragher. If he has another bad match, we won't compete and it's as simple as that for me. If he holds his own or plays really well, I think we have an outside shot at a draw.
Score Prediction:
2-1 City. I think we will look better than against West Ham, but I think City will get a late winner.
What do you want to see improved?
I would like to see our mids go forward. I know it's a possession based system, but at some point you have to try and score. Watching Cazorla made me wish we had a player like that. He receives the ball in tight spaces, and instead of passing back to the CBs, he does a quick turn and moves forward with it. Obviously ball retention is the priority, but I feel like we just aren't comfortable enough in the system to take small risks.
Another thing, I want to see more confidence on the ball. The system works as a unit, but relies on individuals. You look at Barcelona and they have complete faith giving it to any player in any position, regardless of the danger involved. I rarely see LFC make short, confident passes in space.

Is Enrique suppose to be back? I hope we see Coates in for Agger and not Jaime...
I'm guessing we'll go with Lucas, Allen And Stevie in Midfield... However, I hope we get to see the new guy up front on the right with Suarez and sterling on the left... Why not...
2-1 LFC

I don't see one. Downing offers nothing.

2-2 Draw. Suarez double.

I think Suarez will cause them problems all game.

City's defense certainly struggled against Southampton. I'm hoping that continues.
We will need a bit of luck to come out with a draw, there is no denying that. We always play up to our opponents though, so I won't completely rule it out. I just hope they don't decide to thrash us.

Key player:
Gerrard. I hope to see much better leadership from him in this match. He can elevate the quality of the players around him. He was rather poor against West Brom; this is a way to make up for that.

Score Prediction:
1-1. I believe the atmosphere for the first home match of the season (and against the current league champions) will have the KOP at their best, which will result in Gerrard willing the ball into the goal for the lead at approx 20'. I think City finds an equalizer just after half-time, and the rest of the match is played to a draw.

What do you want to see improved?
Confidence through adversity. When City scores (and they probably will), I don't want to see us hang our heads. Keep playing with confidence, don't hit the panic button, and keep playing your game. You won't learn much and improve when you resort to desperation.

I really hope Borini improves from the WBA game. He just really didn't look comfortable at all.
