no need to overreact. I just think it's nice to attribute information to its source. (at least when it's coming from one source as opposed to vague rumors that float around the tabloids)

Two good things to hope for ... yes they may be false hope, but still hope none the less.

Luis Suarez is happy and will stay at Liverpool, insists agent Pere Guardiola

If both of these ARE TRUE ... I will jimp days y'all, jimp for days ...

I'm just feeling a little salty this morning...

I took it as you suggesting I left that out purposely given BEASTs comments about him in another thread... which was not the case... if that isnt what you were suggesting, my bad..

Anyway, no worries I was really just being silly...

Craig Bellamy's autobiography came out. I'll be ordering it soon. Here are some articles if you want to read snippets of it.

Golf club incident

Shearer threatening to knock him out

Almost joining Everton

You do realize the majority of that article he's basically saying he's absolutely leaving. Lets not get too excited yet.

I'm not one way or the other but I was stating if those two events did happen I would be overcome with joy.

Liverpool insist Suarez is not for sale. No bids have been received and unlike Torres he or his representatives have not contacted the club about this matter.

The new quotes on Sky are rehashed from his previous interview. It's Sky being sky and twisting words to make a headline.

Suarez says in his interview that he loves the club and the city but hates the media in Britain. We already knew this. He also says there has been no contact from Real and no bids. He says he has already told the manager what he thinks and he does not know what might happen. He also says that he finds it disturbing that his daughter and family have to go through a lot of crap because of the media. This we already knew. And he says if Real do come in it would be hard for him to not consider the offer given his circumstances. This is completely understandable.

A statement from #LFC: Luis Suarez is not for sale - neither Luis or his representatives have communicated these feelings directly to LFC

#LFC : The Club remains supportive of Luis and expect him to honour his contract. We will not be making any further comment at this stage.

I guess all we can do now is buckle down and weather the storm.

On the official LFC Twitter now.

Neither Luis nor his representatives have communicated to the club a desire to leave.

Luis Suarez is not for sale. LFC is fully supportive of Luis and expect him to honour his contract.

There is a chance he might still be sold. But if he does stay I expect him to give 100% every game.

I don't think that'll be a problem regardless of whether he wants to be at Liverpool or not. Hes too competitive to let his team lose because he's not happy about having to stay at a club he doesn't want to be at.

I'm whatever at this point. I definitely hope he stays, because he makes us better. But I wouldn't fault him for leaving considering the circumstances, especially if it were for RM. Plus, we'd be getting payed (even though I hope it would be more from the alleged 47m pounds being talked about now)

If we were to lose him, I'd probably settle for 50 million pounds. I don't think there's anyway someone shells out more than that for him

Not a penny less than 60. He is much better than Torres and he isn't injured or past his prime like Torres was. We also paid more for him than Torres. So if Torres went for 50, I'd go atleast 60 for him.

But I think he's going to be here at the end of the window.

Two excellent translations of the two Suarez interviews. No Sky BS and twisting words. 1. and 2.

Also, Tony B says Liverpool will have to receive a club record bid in excess of 50 million pounds minimum to even consider selling Suarez.

A year ago today we hired the manager that will one day soon, bring this club back to where it rightfully should be. Pass and move, the Liverpool way. The past year has been a joy to watch, and here's to hoping for many more. The sky is the limit. Here's to you Brendan.
