He just doesn't do it for me. Pretty good technical ability, but with absolutely no pace on the wings. He's just so low on the depth chart at this point. He needs either another loan deal (which I don't think he wants) or to be sold.

Don't you think under BR's new scheme pace would take a backseat to technical ability? I feel like we'll be lobbing and running a lot less, and there will be a lot more keeping the team in front of the ball.

Definitely not on the wings. Pace on the wings is important in BR's scheme.

Gotcha. I read the articles on his philosophy awhile back but don't remember any of it. And I obviously can't use the US tour as any type of benchmark for what he wants to do.
How do the wingers play into his set up?

Very similar to how Nathan Dyer and Scott Sinclair played for Swansea. Technically gifted players with explosive pace. Rodgers likes to use every inch of the pitch

By the way, watched Gareth Bale whine for like 5 minutes about Charlie Adam on Sky Sports last night. When asked if he held a grudge on Adam for the tackle in the friendly he said he doesn't even think about Chuck because Chuck is one of those people that is not worth thinking about.
He's acting like a baby. Get the frick over it. We all hate Chuck but to carry on about it to the media after everyone has forgotten makes you look like the douche you are.

Does Gaston Ramirez' crushing strike off the post pretty much seal the deal for his arrival to Anfield?

Side note to everyone: I am currently starting a new Liverpool blog with some other LFC fans on Reddit. If anyone is interested in contributing, let me know. Not sure exactly how applications will be handled. We are also trying to get a weekly podcast going if anyone is interested in that as well. Right now there are 5 of us, and we are going to open applications to other members of the LFC subreddit. We are hoping to get 10 contributors before launch (end of August).

Nope not yet. Hopefully it will be operational by the end of August. We've only recently had the idea so there is a lot to get in order. I'm hoping the other blog I write for also tries to partner up.
