Question y'all:

Would you be for or against us taking Michael Bradley if he were to come available for a reasonable price and we used him to help Lucas with that holding/defensive mid?

I would prefer a real hard man to come in and compete with Lucas... Obviously, not one devoid of any other skill...

I still think of Bradley as more of a box to box CM... I think he'd be competing for PT with Allen and Henderson...

I think he could play here, but given what we have, dont see where we need him

In that span
Norwich, Sunderland, Wigan and Aston Villa: 1
LFC : 14

BR knows how to get his team to show up against anyone, especially the bottom half of the league. 10-3-3 for the year with a +19 GD.

Considering he'd be half the price, I say absolutely.

All things considered, probably so... I feel Bradley couldve have done a better job subbing for Lucas early this season... To be fair to Joe, he isn't a DM and tiny to boot...

I like Joe, but feel he's a squad player that we probably paid too much for, but Swansea was always going to make us... And I also understand BRs want to have him while we learned his style of play... He was arguably our best player early on after Suarez..

I think he would have been tried at both the AM and LW roles... I'm sure he couldve helped, but I doubt as much to have us in 4th now...

All in all, I'm not too disappointed in retrospect... It was more the blunder to sign a replacement for AC that had me (most) up in arms...

That said, I was fired up for Sahin... With Gerrard excelling in his favored role, we didn't have a place for him... He was not cut out to be the DM (so slow) and obviously didnt enjoy a more advanced spot..

Just my opinion, but I don't see Dempsey having worked out with our possession system. Probably a blessing in disguise.

Dempsey is 60 minutes of frustration for 5 minutes of awesomeness.

He may have won us more free kicks though, which have been a decent source of goals this season.

Just read that Lucas, Gerrard, and Henderson have started together 5 times this season, winning 3 and drawing 2 away at both Man City and Arsenal

And Hendo has 3 goals and 2 assists in his last 7 starts

Seems Henderson is really starting to come into his own

Dempsey is an average player overall. Most Americans struggle to admit that.

He has his days, but he rarely impresses me. He does certain things well, but overall he really contributes very little to the team.
