Listening to Rodgers pre-Carroll move, I definitely believe that he didn't want Andy to leave, all management.

His exchange with Cody Ross had me cracking up!
Cody: "Have you ever played cricket"
Adam: "No"
Cody: "Just soccer?"
Adam: "Yep"
awkward

Hopefully that was just a prop the show put in. Judging by the way Rodgers carries himself, he wouldn't have a picture of himself on the wall

My DVR cut off the end, so I'm trying to download it, but overall, it was very, very entertaining

Went missing for a few days mates on a training. Didn't catch the Sunderland game. From what I heard passing was good, the team kept possession well but lacked finishing. Borini hasn't been all he was made out to be. From the looks of it this reminds me of Dortmund's first season under Jurgen Klopp (I think it was 2008-09).
Two important things:
1. The players need to get more comfortable around each other and around the box.
2. We need to find a focal point for our build up play. A striker or a couple of strikers who are deadly with the ball at their feet and also skillful enough to hold it and/or keep it moving.
That would either result in better finishing or help pull more defenders and give the rest of the people more space in the box giving us more chances to finish. Just my 2 centavos.

I thought he was alright. Still not the finisher we need, but he played through the middle more and came back to the ball well to help support pushing the ball forward. Made some more good runs but was unable to get quite on the end of some balls. I do agree about having guys that are able to come back to the ball, control it, and push forward from there.

Samed Yesil will apparently make his Liverpool debut against Young Boys. I'd imagine it would be off the bench.

I hope that he is a super hybrid of Torres, Owen, Fowler, Rush and Dalglish.
I still hope we find the next Fernando Torres. I feel like that is the final piece of this puzzle. A strong forward with excellent feet and great speed who can play off the shoulder of the last defender.
Also I had a giant man-crush on Judas before he became Judas. No homo.

At this point, I just want someone who can put the ball in the back of the net

Agreed. Another Torres would obviously be ideal, but I'd be satisfied with a Darren Bent type of player honestly..
Just someone clinical who converts a good portion of their chances. That would alleviate a lot of pressure from Suarez who is once again struggling at being the focal point of the attack. Like I said last season, I just don't think he's that type of player..
Way too much on his shoulders and it leads to whining/diving. He always plays his worst during a stressful match. He has thrived in matches where we get an early goal. The game opens up more and he doesn't feel the need to try and draw fouls/PKs as often.

Nobody knows..
I would imagine he would see the pitch at least once in our 2 matches against Young Boys
