celebrate??? this shite sucks!!! but the difference between me and the others is that i don't have a problem saying they suck.... the others here act like if they don't say anything negative, maybe they'll turn it around, magically, and then it's gonna be all rainbows and unicorns....

i, however, understand we suck now, we don't have much hope of getting better right now, and the moves we made may or may not work out, making us suck in the future....

trust me, i wish we'd be crushing teams like Arsenal did today.... yeah, that's my wish.... but it's not happening at Anfield as of right now...

Damn it, just got if from Chicago... avoided all social media, pulling up to the house a friend calls (not a footy fan), so I answer and as we're about to hang up... "I see Liverpool tied it up and now going into extra time" frick me!

So, can someone other debbie downer tell me how we looked... I rewound the DVR to see Suarez's goal, but thats it...

Don't mind him Beast. He is just celebrating the fact that Pool drew instead of win.

as sad as this is, this is pretty much as good as it gets for Liverpool nowadays.... such a far fall from where we were even 3-4 years ago....

Played well. Good movement especially once we settled into the match, but we still have no idea how to "pick the lock." Sunderland hardly even got a shot on goal in the second half. A lot of wasted possession by Liverpool, didn't play like we need to. Sunderland is no joke of a team though. Sessegnon impresses me every time I see him play.

Oh I don't. You know better than anyone on here that I am very aware where Liverpool stands as a club. I just don't waste my energy typing novelic rants on a message board.

Chances created:

this is all nice, and will go nicely at the next Liverpool Women's Social, but the fact is, we should be winning games like this vs. inferior talent, rather than drawing....

LFC's issues have been well documented through the first three matches... Did you think they were going to come back from the international break with magic boots, scoring goals for fun???

I can assure the rest of us didn't. We've resigned ourselves to the fact this is going to be a work in progress and were hoping to see bits of progress along the way... In January, when the window opens, hopefully we will get some reinforcements, but until then...

It's a new era... a rebuild... enjoy the process and trust that we have the right guy in Rodgers...

No they don't. They're the reincarnation of the 1970's Brazil teams.

as have i.... but we have REGRESSED..... that's what has me frustrated... but to have to be resigned to this:
quote:

In January, when the window opens, hopefully we will get some reinforcements

the FO has done nothing, to this point, to lead me to believe that they can actually build this team.... there's an internal power struggle, with one side thinking one way, and the guys that sign the checks thinking another.... until they figure it out, i have no reason to think they can fix what seems to be broken....

quote:

enjoy the process

how? do you realize where we are in the table, and if we don't figure it out soon, we are going to be praying to avoid relegation?? that sounds weird to even type, but it's the truth....
