Please God let it be. Congrats to Downing for getting started. I'm really starting to believe that Andy Carroll is just a better scorer with his feet than with his head. Good win either way, the team just looks completely different with Gerrard on the pitch.

Really pissed I couldn't catch the game. Glad everyone looked good though, and it really is true about Steven. The team is just worlds different when he's in their midst.

BBC reporter at the scene immediately refuted it. Hope to god it wasn't anything racist, but the way the world reacts to news now with no information is disgusting.

If he got his feelings hurt because they were singing Suarez' song and the douches in the Kop with the silly hats were holding Luis Suarez scarves up, then he needs to grow up. If one of said tards actually racially abused him verbally, I hope they caught it on camera so they can be prosecuted and they should receive a life time ban from Anfield.

BBC reporter sitting there said it's made up. Mersyside police themselves have come out and said that they made no racially motivated arrests, which proves Mirror was just going on bullshite.
It could very well be that he was racially abused, but reporting all of this without facts or direct quotes on hand is irresponsible and slanderous.
