At least Shelvey is out there. I like Shelvey.

Carroll gets another start. Lets see the big man score again.

Today was a consolation performance, but I'll take it. Lots of positives all around.

Really excited for Jonjo's future. He has unlimited technical ability, as his goal showed, but he still needs plenty more matches under his belt before he is ready to advance to the "next level."

Suarez and Andy partnership finally blooming?

Suarez had a fantastic match. He was dancing around Chelsea's back 4 and impressed me by staying on his feet a few times (most notably on the Essien own goal).

I could go on and on but instead I think I'll just enjoy the moment.

Henderson worries me. Not so much as not being good or technical as he showed it with the goal, but with his identity. Good thing he's got the summer figure it out I suppose.

He'll be fine. He's only 21. May never become a superstar, but he will grow into a solid first team player. He has been played out of position all year long, but he is getting tremendous potential.

Only thing that really bugs me about Henderson is the price tag. 20 million is just ridiculous. I think we have an equally (if not more) promising player in Shelvey for 1.7 million

I know Shelvey's your guy, but there were a lot of big clubs looking at Henderson. He even captains Englands U21s.

I think he'll be just fine once he settle in at CM. We overpaid for all our British transfers last year.

To be honest, I thought the most talented of the bunch was James McCarthy from Wigan and was hoping we'd go for him over Henderson (nore of a b2b type).

While I can't really disagree with this, the truth is chicks dig successful professional athletes with money. Look at some of the girls Frank Ribery has slain and he literally looks like a monster. No reason Suarez should have a hotter wife than Pepe...Reina is at least 4 points better looking (SB homo).

I just wanna retract my statements about Carroll from earlier in the year. I didn't think he belonged out there and didn't fit in with the club.

He was fricking boss today and has been for the last couple weeks.

here's to the big guy

I'd like to go on record and just say how many times I tried defending him not only on here but on Reddit.

I also defended Downing for a while. He definitely isn't Liverpool material, but I still maintain how unlucky he's been.

I was probably a bit harsh on Andy. Looks like he's gonna be a good one afterall

I also defended Downing. He had a good stretch of competent play from Jan-Feb. Since then he's fallen off the radar. Like you said, he definitely isn't Liverpool material.

You definitely did here. And I doubted him all year. But he certainly earned his spot and I think will be great for the club going into the future. He just won so many damn balls today.

Now downing on the other hand.....

He did have a nice shot, and the penalty wasn't tha badly taken, just a little unlucky. It's funny, I was watching it with my wife, and she kept saying how pathetic the penalty who was. I had to keep telling her that it wasn't that bad, and we've seen much worse this season(I'm lookin at you Adam)
