FA Cup Clash!
This video got me jacked!

All right fellas, I know y'all are getting excited like me. It's going to be a great final. Liverpool ALWAYS play their asses off against us.

FYI: Liverpool have 7 FA Cups. Chelsea have 6.

I'm getting so nervous about it. It's going to be an uphill battle, especially with Torres' apparent refound form. God if he scored against us I'm going to break a window somewhere.

Really good article on Aquilani basically highlighting what we have all been saying the past couple years. GIVE HIM ANOTHER SHOT! We're looking around Europe trying to spend money when we may have a capable enough player in-house. He sure as frick can't be worse than Adam. Even Henderson (who I do like) can't really compete with Aquilani (IMO).

Aquilani is 28 with 2 years left on his contract. Let the man play please. It isn't worth selling him to get 5-8M.

I felt he deserved to stay around after a decent pre-season. He deserves another shot

Just FYI I'm all for giving Aquilani a chance, I certainly believe he's good enough to earn a regular place in the squad. However, if he's not going to be a regular next season he definitely needs to be sold. Next season he will have no re-sale value at 29 with a year left on his contract.

Meh, I don't really agree. It obviously all depends on how we plan on using him. But his loan deal to Milan says that if he plays 25 matches, then they are required to buy him at 8M. He is at 23 1/2 matches and won't reach 25. Milan are effectively refusing to pay 8M for him. Considering that Fiorentina, Juve and Milan were really the only clubs interested AND Milan are refusing to pay 8M tells me one thing: he already has very little resale value.

If he is good enough and capable of playing in cups/10-15 league matches, he is worth keeping over getting 5M, IMO. Keep in mind LFC will be in Europe next year. After selling Meireles, sending Cole and Aquilani on loan and losing Lucas and Adam to injuries, our vulnerability in the midfield really shone through. We were forced to recall Shelvey just so we could have enough mids for cup matches. A quality squad player/depth will be very important next season.

ETA Obviously with all of that said, if Kenny has absolutely no plans for him, then sell him and get what you can.

He apparently has very little now. Seems like the Italian teams are trying to bend us over a barrel until we give him away (knowing he wants to go back).

Yes they are. Like I said, Fiorentina, Milan and Juve were really the only clubs interested. Considering that Milan is refusing and Juve signed Pirlo, there really isn't much of a market for him.

Interesting squad choice. I like it! AURELIO!!! Would have loved to see Sterling.

ETA Sterling on the bench! Hopefully he can get some minutes!! I still think Suarez should have gotten an hour in before subbing off for Sterling.

I like this lineup for this match. I hope that young midfield can handle Fulham, which they should.

Glad to see MAXI get the start, and of course I'm excited Sterling is on the bench

Hopefully Henderson gets the nod to run things in the middle. I'd like to see him control the game with some good distribution

I wonder if Kenny bought Henderson to eventually take over for Stevie G? Obviously Henderson is not near Stevie as he's a lengend but one day possibly?

I would love nothing more.

I think that's the plan for one day.

Henderson needs time.... but i don't think he'll ever be able to even come close to fill Stevies boots.... he's just not the player Stevie was/is....

He certainly is nowhere close to where Steven was at this comparative point in both of their careers.
