8 goals in the last 6 games. Leading the league in goals. I don't know if I've ever seen him play this well and motivated. He just had a ridiculous spinning flick whirling dervish pass that led to one of his goals.

Now that I'm paying more attention to MLS, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Dempsey and Bradley are far and away the best players in the league.
Also, the fact that Dempsey and Martins have gotten some great chemistry workin between them has really helped. I'd never been impressed by Martins until this year.

He's really turned it around the last few weeks.

I'm glad that he finally has gotten it together.
According to WhoScored, it's Obafemi.
I've been kind of surprised by some of the criticism that he received. I thought that he looked a level above every Sounders attacker minus Dempsey when I saw him play, even if the end product wasn't necessarily there.

Deuce and Obafemi are so fun to watch together.

I thought they both had 4. It might have already been updated when I looked.

I figured it out. MLS apparently credited him with at least one assist that Opta, or whoever provides MLS statistics to WhoScored, didn't

That was sick-nasty.
Re: Martins,
I don't think he looked really "controlled." The skill was obviously there, but he just needed to slow things down and not look like such a spaz out there. He's done that this year, and has been really sharp. Plus he's been lethal in his finishing.

Bold statement.
Also, I love that Clint is playing well now, since SKC has already played them. I'm fine with him keeping this form until November.

BUT HE DOESN'T PLAY IN EUROPE!!!!!

I'm one of the few that dislikes the guy (I really don't even have a reason
), but my God...he's gone into beast mode as of late. That obviously bodes well for us come June. Bradley is in sick form too.

It was pretty obvious that he read the game at a level higher than people like Eddie Johnson, and seeing him in person, he was better technically than I originally thought. I wrote off a lot of his issues as being created by his injury problems and thought that it'd only be a matter of time before he put it together. Course, I didn't extend the same courtesy to Clint Dempsey, and his situation was pretty similar.

He's been fun to watch as of late. Let out an audible WOOOOOOOOO when I saw that pass earlier.

Clint is an exceptional player and has been for quite a while now. As a Fulham fan I routinely watched him make fantastic passes and assists in addition to scoring goals. I have always thought his setup game was largely overlooked.

But not wrong, based on how well they've played lately.

They are in the discussion.
Have to include Keane and Henry in the best player discussion as well.
Knocking on the door are Higuain, Alonso, Castillo, and Camilo.
ETA: Beckerman and Zusi have to be in there too.

Camilo? The one playing in Mexico who jumped ship at Vancouver?
And I really hope you're not talking about Osvaldo Alonso as being one of the best in the league. He's good, but nowhere near Dempsey/Bradley tier.
