Farke’s press conference kicking off now. Woody seems to be hinting that Bamford is back in the mix to make the team.

ETA: Farke basically confirms DCL even though it isn’t officially announced yet.

As things stand are we properly fricked going into the season? Need to get my expectations set before going into the season.

Probably fricked as things stand, still need some upgrades in the attack to have a chance.

Probably screwed, with the way things stand I expect someone new in charge by the new year

Things seem bleak on waccoe today, lots of rumblings of incomings done after the FB cover

So we are heading into a premier league campaign with a less potent attack than we had in the championship

Edit: Might have to get a ticket to the New Orleans thing to just throw rotten tomatoes at Parage at this point

With DCL incoming plus Piroe and Nmecha and possibly Bamford i would honestly rather just bring in a winger or attacking mid vs another striker (unless it’s a ridiculous opportunity). We have way too much industry and not enough stardust.

Multiple sauces saying Justin should happen. Can cover both FB spots.

DCL just announced.

He’s looking to resurrect his career.
Y’all need a striker.
Could be a good fit, or a cheap mistake.

100 percent agree

Wont be a cheap mistake if they get relegated because they pinned the goal contributions on an oft injured striker, but if they bring in others before the window closes okay

I just discovered Peacock’s multi viewer so we can cheer against Sunderland and Burnley at the same time.

Wet Spam looks like a candidate for the drop. Absolutely shambolic performance against Sunderland. We need to get something against the Toffees.

So we beat Everton Monday after defending is top notch with the new signings then we wait out until close of the window to see what other attackers and FB cover come through the door

At least I think that is the most likely scenario at this point, probably get some attacking folks through the door after Arsenal

Yeah. We'll see. Spurs amongst others are after Demirovic so we can probably write him off. Sounds like we're not pursuing Muniz any longer. Also, sounds like Leceister may be entertaining more attractive offers for El Khannouss. Remember that Raphinha was a last minute signing so I'm still hoping that we get someone through the door before the transfer window closes. Any player we bring in now will probably not be fully integrated until after the international break.

Y’all should bring in Zardes and just smash balls at his face. Guaranteed at least a goal per game

Everton looks stronger than they did the last 3-4 years. They’ll also be on high alert after what happened to west ham today. I would probably take a point right now.

How fit is DCL? Absolutely zero preseason. I would feel a little more confident if Bamford was starting. When DCL is match fit he’ll bring those same qualities plus he’s really good in the air.

Im already freaking out about James starting and BA and Harrison getting subbed in before Largie.

I know they said Branthwaite is injured so at least that’s one of their better defenders out for the match

Gonna need Willy to bring the stardust Monday
