20 points less than halfway through isn’t a bad start.

Glad we got a point away again, especially after we had all that pressure and couldn’t get a second

At that point it felt like one of those gut punch matches that we would lose in the last minutes

Don’t know why Farke didn’t replace guys like Brenda who ran so much in the game, seemed he could have brought Willy and Bornauw on to go back to 3-5-2 with like 75 minutes remaining

7 points clear of the hammers, always been a huge fan of seagulls hopefully agent Georgi helps us out next week

Nice match baws. We should’ve won it in 1st, yall should’ve won it in the 2nd. So a point probably fair.

ETA: I hate AFCON

Would not have had us unbeaten in December but what a turn around.

Were we really unbeaten in December? That’s honestly pretty incredible, especially when you consider our form coming into the month…

Point was fair, little disappointed, but would have taken the point coming in, so no real complaints.

Onto Liverpool and Anfield…

Back to back quality games for Brenda.

Going through the schedule coming into the season I would have put us on 43 points in a realistic, best case scenario. That would have assumed no points against a few teams, one point against some other top teams (home draw), and 4 points (home win, away draw) against most others.

We’re still on track for that with a net zero unexpected points gained vs expected points lost. This will be my way of tracking survival similar to Dan’s spreadsheets.

Need 17 more points for average safety out of the last 10-15 years or so

I would have taken that at the start of the season, especially if you said we have just had the December we did against the quality we faced

Former (current?) Leeds player scores the winner in a 1-0 Hull victory at Boro in a big match with auto promotion implications.

No not Joffy, it was Darko Gyabi.

The blades continue to roll also.

ETA: Birmingham’s coach was just sent off late in a 1-1 game against Southampton.

Watching all these champo teams over the festive period is like…

Not a surprise but Farke confirmed Rodon is out for a few weeks. He mentioned Justin and Bornauw can play in a back 3 so it didn’t necessarily mean he’s going back to the old formation. I still think we could use another center back in the window.

Big matches kicking off in a few minutes…

Brighton @ West Ham
Newcastle @ Burnley
Everton @ Forest
Bournemouth @ Chelsea

Yeah It looks like West Ham are going to score a couple more at this rate. Goals galore in the other games also.

Penalty Brighton!

ETA: And another but Wellbeck blew it
