Phil’s article says the 49ers are likely going to complete the takeover regardless.

How about Radz fricking off to italy to buy Sampdoria while we’re losing to west ham? He’s taking tPiss

I assume that’s gotta be the writing on the wall with the takeover happening, either that or he needs a new optics lad or lass

Who I am kidding he for sure needs one

Yeah no way all this shite happens
Leeds win
Everton loss
Leicester draw or loss

I guess Everton could be a draw if the Leeds win is by 3 or more.

What a disaster the last two months have been. It was always going to be tight but I think you can really trace the bottom falling out to when Tyler went down.

That and Gnonto fading away after his injury at the break. That wolves game was the last time he was peak Willy

I knew it was bad but looking back at it now is even worse than I thought. Only 5 points in 10 games since that Wolves win.

Now sitting here 6 weeks later and still don’t even have the 32 points we did for that brief moment

Sigh I remember riding high in the first half of that palace game, life comes at you fast when you have a mentally weak team full of kids running about.

But hey tProject is on going, and damn lads those program notes from the start of the year sure look bad in retrospect.

Anyone know where I can find all the chaps with relegation release clauses for us?

I read Phil’s article and pretty much everyone has one especially the highest earners and new signings

I hope they sing about Gnonto’s cock for 90 minutes because he’ll be one of the first someone comes in and takes

Phil saying Meslier, Koch, Sini and Rodrigo the likeliest to move on even if we survive.

Perfect

Can you imagine if Rutter has a clause and leaves for like 15 million after Orta sank 30+ million into getting him here when he clearly wasn’t ready to contribute

Last parting gift

Edit: watching an office episode while eating my lunch and this Dwight line pretty much sums up the season, ownership, etc

I was surprised to see the line about Adams, but wanting to keep him and being able to keep him aren’t the same I guess.

What was the line about Adams?

I don’t see how they could convince him to stay because I imagine other premier teams or other top level league teams would be interested in him

I guess it wasn’t so much what he said but more so that he wrote several paragraphs about all the players that would definitely leave or would be likely to leave, but then had him and Gnonto separate from those.
quote:

There are some who Leeds would be very keen to retain, though. McKennie’s fellow USA midfielder Tyler Adams is one. They would be reluctant to lose Wilfried Gnonto too, though his performances have put him on the radar of clubs in Europe.

ETA: I guess I’m inferring that they would fight to keep them and make them the centerpieces of what would hopefully be a team that bounces right back, where as the others are likely a lost cause or they don’t want to keep them anyway for one reason or another.

I see it like this

Definitely gone:

Meslier, Koch, Llorente, Firpo, Roca, McKennie, Rodrigo, Harrison, Sinisterra

Probably gone: Drameh (Graham reported last week it was very unlikely he’d be back regardless), Wober, Adams, Forshaw (out of contract ), Summerville, Bamford (one of the highest earners), Gnonto

Likely to stay: Robles (out of contract), Ayling, Cooper, Kristensen, Struijk, Dallas, Aaronson (hit the weights baw) James (lol), Roberts (maybe?), Shackleton (maybe?), Poveda (maybe ?) Joseph (Supposedly being scouted by Spanish clubs)

Young players to build around: Klaesson, Hjelde, Cresswell, Monteiro, Mullen, Bate, Gray, Greenwood, Gyabi, Joffy, Perkins, Rutter, McGurk

We need to do what we did in Bielsa’s first season and hit up the likes of city and Chelsea for some loans. Get experienced championship players who are still young enough to improve ( Lewis O’Brien, John Swift etc)

No matter which league we’re in we need 2 CBs, a new LB (seen Manning from Swansea linked but he probably goes to Southampton), 2 midfielders probably another winger and a striker if Bamford goes (Gyokeres if coventry loses to Luton)

We’ll get parachute payments and some decent fees for those guys in the first group. Hopefully a smart DOF and a manager with an adaptable system that doesn’t need 142 Red Bull players. Plan for the best but realize with the amount of retooling we need from top to bottom that this could be a 2-3 year project. This isn’t like Fulham being able to keep Mitrovic etc. It all starts with the ownership domino. Hopefully the niners have good ideas in place.

frick sake S

Can you imagine little Aaronson getting wrecked by Luton Town goons next year when they lose the promotion match. They might kill that poor bastard with that huge defensive line they have.

I don’t care how many pastries he eats on insta with his girl this summer.
