God Rooney is playing out of his mind. Suarez looks rusty but you can still see danger whenever the ball is around the box. Even more impressive when you consider no Van Persie for Man U and no Coutinho for Pool

He may not be on my FIFA cover as a member of El Tri, but he's in my heart as a Red Devil.

West Brom very nearly score, great save by Fab. Then Arsenal score 1 minute later to take the lead.

Sigh, Arsenal get scored on from a corner to tie it all up. Unmarked man on the back post served it back across the face of the goal to find a second unmarked player who headed it in from 4 yards away.

Wenger is a joke

He fields a B team for the League cup, yet again.

Guy isn't winning the league, Champions league, or FA cup, so he better start giving more of a shite to the league cup.

It's going to be another year with no Silverware for Arsenal. But they can pump their chests about finishing 4th, again! woohoo

None of the top table clubs field their A teams in the Cap One cup unless they are playing another top table club. Even then there is always a mix of experience and youth, until they reach the semis or better. That is just the way of this tournament.

I don't mind teams using their B squads in this. It gives guys a chance to get experience and playing time and opens up a window to be called up.

The League Cup is a Mickey Mouse Cup that is only important for lesser teams who want a chance at playing in Europa. If Arsenal won the trophy and claimed that as their big silverware they'd still be laughed at.

Not really happy this is going into extra time. Good thing only Mert and I guess Gnabry are the players who would feature over the weekend. Wont have all that many tired players. I'm not sure if Arteta would start, but most likely I guess.

The Capital One Cup is similar to winning the Capital One Bowl. Yea it's nice and you get a trophy but no ones bragging about winning the Capital One Bowl three years later.

You dumb.

I'd like to win the League Cup just for the sake of belief. But it isn't an important cup.
