How do guys like Earnie Stewart and Mix live most of their lives in a foreign country but speak English with no noticeable accent? Is it cause they hear English from their American parent growing up?

just depends

Some players move over here and get an english accent. Same with their kids.

Look at Green, kid clearly grew up in a house with both English and German but once he left the house it was German and you can tell.

Fab is fine at RB. He's pretty good with either foot. If Jurgen wants to play Beas at LB then it makes sense. What doesn't make sense is Fab at RB and Chandler at LB. If that's what it is today, then I'm not sure what to think, unless he's just using these games to experiment.

If that's the setup against Ghana, then who fricking knows.

So hopefully NY gives a better rendition of the National Anthem than San Fran... That was embarrassing as hell

I think you are right, but I would prefer to not expose Chandler.

Jozy better not suck today. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I'm always underwhelmed

Chandler isn't bad, he just needs to stop being a bitch.

ESPN FC tweeted this is Chandler's first start since November 2011. Did he not start in that Honduras game? I know that game wasn't all the way back in the 2011.

It's his first start at LB since 2011.

I'm between the 18 and the 6, second row on the non AO end. I'm probably the only guy in an Earnie Stewart jersey.

Looks like the diamond midfield returns.

And I thought that Chandler was primarily a RB and Fabs a LB? The experiment continues.

Why in the world are Fab and Chandler switched like that? It just doesn't seem logical at all.

Yeah, but I was hoping that was just substitution positioning. I feel like both are playing on the side they are less comfortable on.

I'm sure this has already been posted on here, but Fabian played more at RB than LB for Hoffenheim this season.
