First sub ever to score for the US in the World Cup. Sub hit the corner. Not too shabby.

Honestly, I think all three of his subs were due to injury/fitness and took basically no thought or strategy.

Brooks was the obvious replacement in the middle for Besler. Omar Gonzales might be Jurgen's least favorite player.

And Zusi is coming off the bench before Davis. It was only briefly mentioned, but I think Bedoya tweaked his hamstring.

Wondo instead of Aron was really the only other possibility.

All injury subs. You can't give Jurgen credit for everything.

Was Bedoya injured? It looked like he was just exhausted. If so, he doesn't deserve to be in the lineup Sunday.

Woah. . . Bedoya spent most of the match working his arse off to mark out the most dangerous player Ghana had on the pitch in Kwandwo Asamoah.

Normal that he needed to get subbed and bring in fresh legs. The way we were set up this was pretty much a planned sub from the get go.

He also looked to have strained a muscle on the terrible Bradley pass.

Bedoya was great today. If he is too tired, start Zusi and use him as a sub. I rate both players about the same, and they have almost identical skillsets (Zusi being the better one at set pieces).

Having Brooks on the roster is all Klinsmann. Bundesliga helping the US Americans.

Bedoya seems faster and more atheltic than Zusi. Although Zusi typically provides better service from what Ive seen.

I wish Bedoya hadn't taken that shot from forever out early in the game. Looked like he could have passed to the middle.
