Torres has been the best except for Bradley and it isn't even close. Bradley is by far and away the best.
At set pieces? Agree to disagree.
Overall, well definitely gimme MB. I would be cool with Torres. We cannot have a midfield with no width and three CDMs.

I'll tell her that I have a bratwurst, it's just a little extra spicy

We've got Sir Ian Darke on our side...
We cannot lose.
(...and Taylor Twellman)
However, Marcelo Balboa and Phil Schoen are on Bornstein exile from our national team games.

We are too talented
Depends on the roster. All three of our defensive mids the other night are wildly overrated by Klinsmann, and I don't see that changing.

Jurgen will learn from these mistakes
What mistakes? He blames bad luck for losing on two free kicks. I haven't heard him say anything about his retarded lineup.
quote:
I know he wants to run everything through Dempsey
Why does he want that? Is he stupid? Has he watched the US play? Has he watched Dempsey play professionally? Dempsey creates for himself or lives off of what others give him. He doesn't create plays for others.
I was big on Klinsmann just for a change, but he has nothing going for him right now.
And what can he really fix by tomorrow night? He hasn't given Corona any playing time, and he didn't call in any of our creative midfielders. Maybe he brings in Torres or Zusi, but that's not going to be enough if we give up a goal or two. We've scored multiple goals only three times since he took over. He talked a big game about playing a better style, but he hasn't put the players on the field to make it happen.
We could very well win the next 3 games, but if he doesn't change his way of thinking, that will just be delaying the inevitable.

Does not compute.

By the way, do we advance by winning two of the next 3?
If we beat Guat., the most points they can get is 9, right?

When asked what it would be like if the U.S. were to lose tonight he responded, "No we won't lose. Don't worry"
He better be right
He better be right

Jermaine Jones, Kyle Beckerman, and Mo Edu are all significantly more talented than your average Jamaican player, we lost on tactics with a little bit of bad luck. We just can't play three DM's at a time. We can't play narrow football when the worst parts of Maurice Edu and Jermaine Jones' games are technical ability. They have bad first touch, poor passing and dribbling. If we don't have people like Michael Bradley and Stuart Holden in the middle, we need to make damn sure we create width. Jermaine Jones and Danny Williams out wide are not the answers to that question.

He took almost all set pieces for Chievo in the offensive side of the field and he was great at them.

We still have a chance to make it into the hex if we lose (52%, I think, according to some stat nerds I follow on Twitter).

yeah, that's cool and all, but im pretty positive i could coach the UNC men's team and pick up at least a point from playing jamaica twice. if the guy running our national team cant do that, then GTFO.

If Jurgen is any kind of manager we will see wholesale changes tonight.

He's gonna have to work within the poor squad selection he made.
This team needs Bradley and Donovan. They are the creators.
