We're in a group with Antigua & Barbados, Jamaica, and Guatemala.

17 of Antigua's 23 play in the third division of American soccer. Their Antigua Barricuda finished last in that third division. They'd have been relegated to the fourth division if we had relegation and if we had a fourth division.

Guatemala have two players who play outside of Guatemala. Marco Pappa moved from Chicago Fire to Herenveen of the Eriedivisie just a couple weeks ago. Carlos Ruiz has played for four different MLS clubs. He's currently unemployed per his wikipedia page. His most recent endeavour was in the Mexican Second division last year. He scored 1 goal in 15 matches at Aris in Greece.

Jamaica has one player on an EPL roster. Adrian Mariappa, who has yet to feature at Reading. The roster consists of 4 Championship players and Ten MLSers. Portland Timbers bench player Lovel Palmer started for the Reggae Boys in their historic win over the USA.

Agreed. It would be a disaster if we don't go to the World Cup. I don't think that's hyperbolic either.

I'm not even going to think about that as a possibility because if it actually happened I would go so far into melt down mode I might not survive it.

Any scenario in which we don't qualify for the world cup is unacceptable. Call up anyone you have to.

If we lose (possible) and Guatemala win (likely) Tuesday, Guatemala would would need only one win or two draws (against the US and Jamaica) to eliminate us. There is (arguably) no better team in CONCACAF at defecating out a 1-1 or 0-0 draw than Guatemala.

When I cautioned last summer that "the devil you know is better than the devil you don't".... the devil we didn't know will be staring us in the face tomorrow night.

We will make it. We are too talented plus you have to figure Jurgen will learn from these mistakes. He needs to work some on his roster. All we have are a bunch of central mids, most of them defensive in nature. We have no width and don't provide service to our forwards. We can't tell what Jozy and Boyd can do because they never see the ball. I know he wants to run everything through Dempsey but he may have to be moved out left to cover for our lack of wide midfielders.

We'll make the Hex.

As for hex itself... I don't want to think about that right now.

3 days. He has to win tomorrow, and not select a roster like a dickhead.

What changes is Klinsmann making for the game?

No reason we shouldn't get an easy 3 points at home against Jamaica unless we aren't trying.

We need to relax guys. Our two toughest matches were always going to be Jamaica away and Guate away. Their records on US soil is abysmal. I think we pick up 9 points from our remaining matches.

Did you see the condition of that pitch the other night? I don't think it had been mowed since Isaac. Set pieces won't be as important when we play them tomorrow.

Can you or any other person recall one overlap by Fabian? I can't. That is no way to play.

If we don't make the hex, jurgen should be fired before he can walk off the field.

I can.

Right at the end, when we had 6-7 guys in the box, and he came up and blasted a shot 20 feet over the goal instead of crossing it in.

This was overlooked because of everything else going on.
