I was really hoping this tourney would prove all of his nay-sayers wrong and he'd show out.
I was hoping that as well. And I'm one of the naysayers.

This. Bradley had to fill Dempsey's shoes as the "10" and that's something he's just not that good at. It's not a knock on Bradley because thats the most difficult role in the game. The US just didn't have anyone else capable of doing in on the roster.

Yeah, but Landon could have played that role perfectly, as he did in the Gold Cup. Oh wait

No but seriously. Imagine what could have been.

Bradley was markedly better in a deeper role vs. Belgium.

True, the opposing team had much further to go to score after he gave them the ball in the Belgium game.

This is now my stance. Rather than replace an injured Jozy with Boyd, you replace him with Dempsey and bring on Donovan. Just my 2 cents, but that would have been much more productive than what was actually on the field IMO.

If you're going to troll at least be accurate with it. This is just ignorant.

Can't a guy have a little fun with the soccertards?

Though if I recall correctly Belgium's run up to their first goal did begin with Bradley turning over the ball in the Belgium third.

Eta: I could be mistaken as I had already had many beers by that point.

Of course you can. It actually would have been a decent trolling job if you hadn't gotten it completely backwards.
