It feels like I'm taking crazy pills. How is there not more outrage about this situation? JUAN MATA IS AWESOME! PLAY HIM!
As a fan of the beautiful game, it upsets me to see such a talent on the bench. Just when we thought he was starting to warm up to him, he's benched for Arsenal. Screw Mourinho. He ruins soccer.

I said Top 5 because I didn't want the thread to get derailed. I'd argue that Bale was better last year though.

Results are results though. Take 3 in the games you should win and park the bus in tough fixtures. It is ugly, but it works.

Yes. I just think an obsession with results can take away from the beautiful game. I guess you could line up a bunch of 7 footers in front of the goal for the whole game, and draw 0-0 against the top teams, but that would be super gay.

Well think about this. What has Chelsea done with Mata. Not just this season, but since we've had him? Finished 5th in the league but snuck into CL by winning it. We have yet to contend with Mata as a regular player and for that matter he's not been great when given the opportunity. I wish we would sell him so I don't have to hear this "Mata is the answer" shite.
