This is going to have me on pins and needles all day...we def need to get another quality striker today, if he leaves...
From everything I am reading, Chelsea is finalizing image rights and salary and that Torres will be in Blue by the end of the evening. Torres did not train with the squad today and has left the complex by car, not helicopter.

This Is Anfield
LFC has a live blog that is more relevant to the Torres deal. In case LSUSOBEAST wants to cry with friends.

Looks like the only thing left in the medical examination.

I have seen this a lot and don't follow LFC. What was the Newcastle conference to be about?

This will become MUST SEE TV. Chelsea needs this transfer badly. They could redeem their season with it and make a nice CL run.

I think a Carroll and Suarez partnership has the potential to be awesome...

Heard this also. Just got a text saying the Torres deal should be done soon.

B-MAC, any soft spot I may have been developing for Nando (and I will confess, there may have been one developing) has been wiped the frick out.
I wish awful things upon him now like I do LeBron, namely a horrific knee injury.
He'll never live this one down, nor will that money buy him nearly the revelry he enjoyed while at Anfield.
In short, frick Nando. And I know who I'll be cheering for in that match this Sunday.
For once, YNWA.

He's a great player in what should be the prime of his career playing at a club fighting for Europa League spots year in and year out now. Why would he want to stay?

Torres still Liverpool. He has not left via Roman's chopper.... yet.

Apparently he is still in Liverpool but will arrive in London later today.

Because I think you're the only person delusional enough to believe that Liverpool won't be back. NESV is already showing their commitment to bringing this club back by completing the Suarez move, sacking Roy, etc.
You're looking at TWO, count them, TWO bad years in what has been one of the most decorated clubs in the world. You gonna let two years dictate what you're doing?
Sure, let's join the club with that huge "illustrious" history like Chelsea. fricking. Lawl.
I get where he's coming from. I do. But it just smells bad. And it's just another example of why I hate clubs like City and Chelsea.

@OliverKayTimes: Ah, there you go. Liverpool have agreed £35m for Andy Carroll
take it for what it's worth... he's pretty well respected
