I think he's a mediocre at best tackler, he doesn't score goals, he doesn't get many assists.

all of these are true but only one of those is a knock against him. His defense should be better but he's not meant to score.

Plus he works so deep that assists aren't supposed to come from him, rather he's supposed to get it to Ozil and Kaka in the right areas.

In terms of beginning a passing series toward goal, you'd be hard pressed to find another player who is better than Xabi at being the initial creator of a play.

He's pretty much the prototype of the Spanish deep-lying playmaker along with Xavi. But we all know Xavi's reputation on this board.

I find Alonso to be a sublime player to be honest. Really excellent at recycling possession and starting attacks.

Reports of Torres jersey burnings outside of Pool's training ground. I wish this Sundays match was at Anfield.

I realize this and I'm not denying that he's a good player at all. I just don't like him as much as everyone else, maybe he subconsciously fricked my mother or something. I don't know, but I've never been in love with him.

If you don't like him, that's your business. To say he is terribly overrated is just silly.

Torres fee agreed.

He can go frick himself even though I do think Liverpool is coming out better for this. But still, he can get fricked for the way he's handled this.

He's a big pussy. They were saying Andy Carroll got out the chopper in a t shirt with no coat. Staying true to his Newcastle ways.

I love watching Torres play dont get me wrong but I'm excited to watch a forward that won't fall over every time a defender sneezes.

David Luiz is getting lost in the shuffle here. That kid is a goddamn baller.

Will he able to play for Chelsea in Champions League games?

Guess this answers that:

thisisanfield: We always knew he was a red, Carroll, Carroll.
He's got greasy hair upon his head, Carroll, Carroll.
He bangs his bird, he burns his house.
We don't care, he's fricking scouse.
Andy Carroll Liverpool's number 9!

Any chance in hell there is a gentlemen's agreement in place that Torres doesn't play this weekend?

tbh if I paid 50 mil and someone asked for an agreement like that, I'd tell em to get fricked.

God I hope not. I hope the fricking shed comes off when Torres fires in on Reina.

Or he tears a hammy and is out for six to eight weeks.
