I was about to make a joke about his age, but realized that he's younger than me. Seriously...I thought he was older than 31!

He looks much older than 31 I think. Must be all that crack he did apparently.

Him and Donovan have been playing since they were 18.

I always give JK criticism when it's needed but I'll give him props. I am glad he kept with a same lineup. I honestly, thought he'd continue to change it. I actually didn't mind the three subs either. Usually, he makes wtf subs. But, I'm glad he didn't take anyone off he shouldnt've. He usually does.

People bitching about this result are ridiculous. 3 points on the road. Results are all that matter.

It wasn't inspiring, and we tried our damnedest to give it way, but pointses is pointses. I'll take them anyway they come.

I hope that Klinsmann's ego allows him to call in Landon. Playing the out of position (Eddie, Gomez, Kljestan) or the out of shape AND out of position (Holden, Williams) shouldn't be realistic options in Zusi's place.

Looks like Corona will get his first start since Zusi is out, but you never know with Klinsy.

I assume it will look like this. Maybe switch Davis and GAM

Forgot about Corona. That could work.

Davis is dominantly left footed that he would be useless on the right.

I didn't get to see the end of the game, not sure if that is a blessing or not with all the stress... but damn glad we got the win.

Missing Zusi next game is gonna be terrible. He played great today and is really our only RM atm... hopefully Corona or whoever steps in can play well

I watched the game at the AO bar in Austin - great atmosphere!

Given all of the draws that have happened so far, I think 13 points may be safe for a WC spot and we could easily reach that after the next two games.

I was a USA sunshine pumper for as long as I can remember, but Klinsy has officially lost me. I just have to disagree. Results do matter, but not when you're playing this poorly. Granted it was a hard road game, and I'm proud of the guys for pulling it out. But the breadth of work is more telling.

That being said, don't let my pessimistic wrist cutting ruin it for the rest of you. Just ignore this post or feel free to tell me to go grab a vodka cranberry. I deserve that much.

So what did you make of the Germany friendly? And we actually looked good for several moments tonight, I thought...semi-entertaining.

Oh, and go get a vodka cranberry.

7 players were exceptional against Germany. The back line (and I feel like a broken record here) was utter dog shite. Tonight I thought we played a more complete game, but again, we got incredibly lazy tracking players and our ball control was abysmal. If Tim Howard had hair he'd be bald from pulling it out (the irony). It's mental things. And that's why it pisses me off.
